About Me
- Michele Q -
Thank you for visiting my site and looking around.
Since you have come this far, here's a little back story of me and my companies.
The name One L, came to be because of my wonderful mother. When naming me, she wanted my name to be different, so instead of two L's in my name, I only have ONE L.
Thanks mom! Because of you, I now have a brand name that flows across all platforms.
Alright, now let's talk about me, the ONE L gal:
I enjoy using my skills to help and inspire others. When given the opportunity, I enjoy learning new crafts and talents.
I picked up art from a young age but only really developed and expanded my skills the past few years. A journey that still surprises me in the best way possible. I dabble in embroidery, am fascinated with watercolors and have a place in my heart for fresh paint on a canvas. When friends seen my art work, they asked me to make something unique for their business. I was truly honored and grateful that they would allow me to be apart of their journey. That led me right into graphic design and creating logos. In learning how to build and create using graphics, that opened my eyes to so many more options. The possibilities are endless when you leave your mind and heart open to new experiences.
When my creative juices take a time out, I step right into numbers.
There is something wonderful in numbers. They stimulate the mind into seeing what was and what will be. I look at accounting like a puzzle. You start with a mess of information with no rhyme or reason and put it together one piece at a time. When you have it all completed, you step back to see the whole picture. That right there is just as satisfying as finishing up a detailed watercolor or hours upon hours of stitching.
They say that there right brain people and left brain people.
The right side is where your imagination and creativity come form.
While the left side is where your logic, numbers and analytical thinking come from.
Then there is me, a full brain person. (pause for laughter)
But the truth is, we all use both sides daily and should challenge both as often as possible.
We are all capable of so many things. The best thing we can do, is try as many things as possible. We might stumble and fall. That is expected. As long as you learn along the way, you can succeed.
Thank you for taking the time visit. I hope we can collaborate and work together soon. It would be a privilege to get to know you and learn your story as well.
Talk soon!
